MicroGel™ offers rock-solid feel and touch - With the lowest density of any material, MicroGel™ is a revolutionary new silicone-based material that combines stiff and strong carbon composite fibres to create a racket with incredible responsive qualities. On ball impact, MicroGel™ uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame to provide the most rock-solid feel and superior touch ever achieved in the game. During ball impact MicroGel™ deforms and compresses, absorbing the initial ball shock, and dispersing the impact to the entire frame. It then returns quickly to its original shape to spring the ball in to the next shot.
Metallix™
Key areas on the racket head are made of a specially designed hexagonal matrix of carbon fibres, and a new crystalline metal alloy. This alloy’s grain-size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal, producing unrivalled stiffness and durability. The decreased grain size means increased performance, or, as the Hall-Petch Effect states: smaller grains = stronger material.
