The Sports Tutor Shotmaker Standard Tennis Ball Machine is produced of high-impact injection-moulded plastic and powder-coated aluminum for strength and rust resistance. The electric motors are all commercial grade and maintenance free.
The machine features standard model control panel which is organised in two simplified sections.
The left side of the panel controls the type of shot you want, Individual dials control speed, spin, and the interval between shots. The elevation of the shot (a.k.a. trajectory) is electronically controlled by a single two-position rocker switch. To shoot balls to a single spot, set the OSCILLATOR switch to OFF. To direct shots randomly across the court, set the OSCILLATOR switch to RANDOM. For programmed operation, set the OSCILLATOR switch to PROGRAM, and set the desired shot pattern with the switches on the right side of the control panel.
The Standard model can be programmed to shoot balls to any or all of the three positions (A, B, C) shown on the tennis court diagram above the corresponding switches. For instance, to shoot to positions A and C only, push the position A and position C switches ON, and leave the position B switch OFF. To shoot balls randomly across the court push all three position switches to OFF.
The Sports Tutor Shotmaker Standard Tennis Ball Machine includes a single-function wireless Remote Control, which alternately starts and stops the ball delivery.
