Hand crafted in solid Cherrywood, the WaterRower Oxbridge Rowing Machine With Computer is built to the highest standards. As with all woods, Cherrywood may differ in colour over time. It can appear anything from a deep red to a red-brown colour and as time passes exposure to light will alter the colour, making it darker. To ensure that there is no shadowing effect, all WaterRower machines are stored in light-free rooms and so will appear light in colour when new and will eventually darken to reach a rich redish shade. Every machine is hand finished with 3 coats of Danish Oil giving a beautiful depth and warmth to the wood.
The WaterRower Oxbridge Rowing Machine With Computer is made from Cherry wood that has been chosen due to its marvellous engineering properties, Primary amongst these is its ability to absorb sound and vibration, enhancing the WaterRower's quietness and smoothness of use. Cherrywood, like all woods used in WaterRower construction, is a premium hardwood with incredible longevity and dimensional stability. For reasons of ecology, all the woods used are harvested from replenished forests.
