This sleek and robust machine is fitted with a large water tank offering a capacity of 17 litres and has adjustable water resistance that naturally raises and falls as you paddle. Paddling faster increases the drag ensuring more resistance and to decrease the intensity, simply paddle slower. The rower not only improves cardiovascular strength, heart and lung function, but also helps to tone and strengthen every major muscle group in your body. To simulate real paddling motion, there are actual paddles located in the water tank and the machine features a clear LCD display to let you keep tract of the key workout data. For a comfortable workout position, there are large footplates with adjustable straps and an ergonomic seat, and the Riviera is a great space-saver that can be stored upright after your daily training session.

Is it necessary to drain the water every time it is stored upright?

No, not at all. The water tank is sealed tight and leakproof. However, please do remember about periodic maintenance to maintain the condition of the water in the tank and keep it free from bacteria and algae. We recommend adding one water purification tablet every 6 months. Detailed instructions are provided in the product manual.

My boyfriend is 6'4" - is the rail long enough for him?

Yes, the Riviera has an extra-long anodised aluminium rail and is perfectly suitable for taller users.

How often should the water be refreshed?

The water must be refreshed periodically by adding a Water Purification Tablet provided. On average, add one purification tablet every 6 months.

Does it store upright?

Yes, the rower can be quickly and easily stored upright to save your precious floor space. It has wheels that facilitate standing it upright and putting it back down again.

How many resistance levels does it have?

Offering variable water resistance, the Rivera has infinite resistance levels. As with on water rowing, when you paddle faster, the increased drag provides more resistance and when you paddle slower, the resistance is less intense.

Does the lcd display show split rate ie time taken to achieve 500m

The DKN Riviera offers live feedback on workout statistics including: stroke rate, total number of strokes, time, distance, speed, calories, pulse (+ scan and count modes). For more detailed information, please follow the included product manual.

Can it be used by children?

Hi. The rower is designed for adults. Ensure that children use it only under the supervision of an adult.

Does it come with water in?

No, there is no water in it when it's in the box. You add water once the machine is set up. Filling the tank is quick and easy.

Can I store it in outside garage?

It’s not recommended to use and store the Riviera rowing machine in cold conditions. The rower should be kept in a warm, clean and dry environment. Do not position it near water or outdoors.

First rowing machine i have personally brought. Seems good quality. Nice movement. Would recommend at the price.

sleek and sturdy rower. natural feel and wonderful sensation of rowing. very happy with it so far.

I’m a bit tight on space so it’s compact design really does make a difference for me. Very smooth movement. Worth the money.

received the rowing machine very prompt and as per agreed. have to say it's much better than I thought it would be. easy to use, tells you if you're working hard enough and gives you real-life rowing experience. must admit, it is doing a good job and helps me stay in rowing shape during the off-season!
