The Head MicroGel 110 Super Pro squash rackets bring together the very best features of the Head squash ranges from the last few years. Based on the incredibly popular Head i.110 squash power frame design, this squash racket offers the latest MicroGel construction for the ultimate stiffness and durability, producing an extra stiff power frame that is incredibly powerful.
The MicroGel technology offers rock-solid feel and touch. With the lowest density of any material, MicroGel is a revolutionary new silicone-based material that combines stiff and strong carbon composite fibres to create a racket with great responsive qualities. On ball impact, MicroGel uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame to provide a rock-solid feel and excellent touch. During ball impact, MicroGel deforms and compresses, absorbing the initial ball shock, and dispersing the impact to the entire frame. It then returns quickly to its original shape to spring the ball in to the next shot.
Key areas on the racket head are made of a specially designed hexagonal matrix of carbon fibres, and a new crystalline metal alloy. This alloy’s grain-size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal, producing unrivalled stiffness and durability. The decreased grain size provides increased performance and stronger material. The result is a lighter, stronger and more powerful racket.
Squash rackets have traditionally bent in the same way on ball impact. Now with the new FlexPoint technology, everything has changed. Powered by LiquidMetal, the FlexPoint technology has two precisely engineered control holes built into the racket frame at 3 and 9 o’clock. The new FlexPoint holes work together to bring power in control. The dimples create flexibility by reducing beam width by 25 % and increasing flexibility up to 50%, allowing the racket head to bend around the ball, increasing dwell time, and allowing unrivalled control in every shot.
