Though I would write a short review on this model, as no reviews out there, and it would have helped me decide if there was, pre purchase. I have had the elyx 1 for just over a week. I have used it for just over an hour a day. The cross trainer is extremely well made, and does seem like a quality product. I have previously owned a cross trainer from York, but that seems like a beginners model compared to this. Unlike the elyx 3,5 & 7, this model does not fold for easy storage, so keep that in mind. The console is basic, but I think that helps keep the cost down somewhat, as you won't find a cross trainer with this build quality, a 20" stride length and 18kg flywheel from any other manufacturer at this price range. The kettle elyx 1 isn't the quietest elliptical on the market,, much noisier than my previous York aspire, but the rotation is smooth, and you feel like your having a great workout. Overall I would 100% recommend the elyx 1, build quality is superb, the specs are great at this price range, and its easy to assemble! The only thing that slighly let's it down is: it's noisy, console is basic & there is no explanation of what the various program's are best suited for (but this can be said for most manufacturers).
