The Marcy MWM-980 Multi-Gym is perfect for a variety of exercises such as:

Seated Bench Press (muscle emphasis: pectoralis) - Before exercising, you should select the desired weight. To do the Seated Bench Press properly, you need to sit facing away from the machine and position the back firmly against the back pad. The next step is to choose the upper or lower grip position from the press bar handles. Then, you should push the press bar away from the body to a full extension. The last step after each exercise is to return to the starting position in a slow and controlled manner.

Pectoral Fly (muscle emphasis: pectoralis) - When doing Pectoral Flies, you need to sit facing away from the machine and position the back firmly against the back pad. Then, place your arms on the fly pads and rotate your arms forward, as far as possible, by contracting from the chest.

Tricep Push-Down (muscle emphasis: triceps) - To do the Tricep Push-Down, you need to attach the lat bar and link chain to the overhead pulley using a spring clip. Then, stand facing into the machine and grasp the lat bar with hands shoulder width apart. Remember to keep elbows at your sides when pushing the bar down and completing a full extension.

Wide Lat Pull-Down (muscle emphasis: latissimus dorsi) - Firstly, you need to attach lat bar to the overhead pulley using a spring clip. Then, sit facing into the machine with knees under seat back for support. Grip the lat bar at the extreme ends and pull the bar down towards your upper chest.

Seated Bicep Curl (muscle emphasis: biceps) - To do the Seated Bicep Curls, you need to adjust bicep curl pad to the desired height. Then, attach lat bar and chain to the low cable pulley using a spring clip. Afterwards, position upper arms on bicep curl pad and grasp lat bar with your palm facing up. Curl bar upward by pivoting from the elbow.

Standing Bicep Curl (muscle emphasis: biceps) - At first, you should attach lat bar and chain to the low cable pulley using a spring clip. The next step is to stand over low pulley positioning feet on top of the front pulley plate. Then, grasp the lat bar with palms facing up and with your elbows at your side and arms fully extended, curl lat bar upward by pivoting from the elbows.

High Pulley AB Crunch (muscle emphasis: ABS/Core) - When doing the High Pulley AB Crunches, you need to attach lat bar to upper pulley. Then, you should sit facing away from the machine, locking legs into foam roller pads for support. Grasp lat bar using a narrow grip and position lat bar behind head. Now, holding position steadily, lean torso forward by collapsing the ab mid section.

Seated Leg Extension (muscle emphasis: quadriceps) - To do the Seated Leg Extension exercise, position the back of your knees on top of the round, black foam roller pads. Then, position the top of your ankles against the lower round foam roller pads. Now you can extend the legs forward, pivoting from the knees, to a full extension.

Leg Curl (muscle emphasis: hamstrings) - Firstly, stand facing the machine and position either knee slightly below the top round, black foam roller pad. Afterwards, place back of your ankle behind the outer foam roller pad and curl leg upward towards your buttocks.

Outer Leg Kick (muscle emphasis: outer thigh) - To do the Outer Leg Kicks, you need to wrap the ankle strap around the leg to be exercised. Then, attach spring clip of low pulley to the ankle strap. Stand beside the low pulley, placing the leg to be exercised (the outer leg) slightly in front of the other. Now, kick leg out to your side, pivoting only from the hip.

Leg Kick Back (muscle emphasis: glutes/leg) - With Leg Kick Backs, wrap the ankle strap around the leg to be exercised. The next step is to attach spring clip of low pulley to the ankle strap. Then, stand facing the low pulley with feet a few inches apart. Now, you should brace your hands on the bicep pad and kick leg back, pivoting from the hip.

Inner Leg Kick (muscle emphasis: inner thigh) - Firstly, wrap the ankle strap around the leg to be exercised. Attach spring clip of low pulley to the ankle strap and stand beside the low pulley, feet shoulder width apart, with the leg to be exercised next to the low pulley. Afterwards, kick towards the front of the leg not being exercised, pivoting only from the hip.

Front Deltoid Raise (muscle emphasis: front deltoids) - When doing the Front Deltoid Raise, you need to attach lat bar and chain to the low pulley using a spring clip. The next step is to stand over low pulley positioning feet on top of the front pulley plate. Afterwards, grasp the lat bar with your palms facing down and begin exercise with arms extended below the waist. Lastly, with your arms slightly bent, raise the bar up and out in front of your body to shoulder level.

I use this gym every other day for an hour and a half. I find it very good, it's nice and smooth. No complaints with build quality.

Received quickly with no problems. Good quality product. Assembly would be easier if the items were labelled but apart from that this is a very efficient machine.
