In addition, the delivery crew will call you 30-60 minutes prior to arriving at your property.

For additional convenience, our 2-man service does offer an option of Saturday delivery to 90% of mainland postcodes. This service incurs an additional charge of £10. The availability of this can be confirmed when we contact you to book in the delivery. Unfortunately, all deliveries of this item to mainland postcodes in the northern parts of Scotland incur a surcharge of £30, but the service does still allow for a day definite delivery booking.

Hi. We're unable to offer an installation service for this item. However this bike does not require professional installation and is quite easy to put together. The instructions are simple and clear and typically installation takes around 30 minutes with two people.

We can deliver this cross trainer to most mainland UK postcodes, including Glasgow in 2-3 days and often next day.

Yes, the folding process is quite straightforward is set out clearly in the user manual.

Yes you will be able to move this trainer. Once folded up you can tilt it onto its transport wheels.

The ProForm 450 LE is compatible with all Bluetooth Smart (BLE) heart rate monitors. It’s not included but we often have offers on them when buying this cross trainer.

No, the 450 LE has 19 programmes including a manual one and 18 pre-set programmes (9 weight loss & 9 intensity), as well as 8-week weight loss programme and offers iFit Coach BLE technology (1-year subscription included) to let you get the most out of your machine and give you access to an immense library of interactive workouts. Thanks to iFit membership you can use the iFit Smart Cardio app (available on compatible IOS and Android tablets and smartphones) and enjoy full iFit experience.

The ProFrom 450 LE uses a magnetic braking system so there is no friction being used as a means of generating resistance. This makes it very quiet. Obviously it's a machine with moving parts so it does make a little noise while in motion but it should be quiet enough to use while other people in the household are sleeping without disturbing them.

Yes. The ProForm 450 is a mains powered elliptical.

The maximum pedal height is 43cm (16.9"). As a general rule, we'd advise 2.4 metres as a minimum ceiling height.

You will receive a proof of purchase certificate for your machine as an attachment on your dispatch confirmation email from us. This document will need to be emailed to the manufacturer (instructions provided on a sticker on the box) and they will email back your activation code.

Yes, this is an elliptical with an 18" stride length!

Hi. The distance between the pedals is 15.5cm. Hope this helps.

Great piece of equipment, smooth, easy to use, love the fan (not just a gimmick). The instructions for putting together were straight forward, it took about an hour to construct. It has a comfortable stride and the fold away feature works well. iFit is great, a real motivator - you don't need to buy the subscription to use the machine, but I'll be subscribing as it's very versatile and makes exercising fun. The negatives are the water bottle holder is too low and awkward to reach and it would be nice if there was a shelf to hold a towel - but these are minor issues. Overall, super pleased with this cross trainer and would recommend.

James B

Excellent service from Sweatband during the current lockdown. Delivered very promptly with great communication from courier. For the money the machine is fantastic - relatively easy to assemble (some parts need 2 people). Have found using Lock Thread has helped reduce the loosening of bolts. Overall has far exceeded my expectations for a home cross trainer.

Jill T

It’s great. The only negative is installing the ifit that I didn’t need and having to sort out cancelling it.

Ellen L

Reliable elliptical, functions good. Manual does not state that you first have to do a trick with blue tooth to get started which was very annoying

Michael C

It’s fantastic for home use

R J

Excellent build quality - strong and sturdy, nicely finished and with smooth operation. The assembly instructions are very clear, so no problem putting it together and setting it up. The trainer folds up out of the way when not needed. The 'electronics' are superb - a good range of workout programmes takes all the thinking out of your exercise regime. The speedometer shows recommended speeds and this serves as an excellent motivator. The trainer has a wide range of intensities which are easily adjusted whilst exercising. One minor problem is initiating the iFit programming - the instructions for this are not quite so lucid. Don't be fooled into signing up for an unnecessary iFit account. On the whole this is a first class piece of kit and comes at a reasonable price - I'm certainly very happy with my choice of purchase.

Paul R

Good quality overall and provides a decent workout. I didn’t like the idea of having to register with a 30 day trial of the iFit program, which included entering bank card details, in order to unlock the screen. However, it’s fairly simple to unregister immediately so I suppose didn’t matter. It’s the principle of ‘enforced’ marketing that I consider unacceptable. Also it’s impossible register the guarantee by means of the supplied documentation as it’s specifically for machines bought in the United States, (it only accepts US phone numbers and addresses). Sweatband customer services sorted it out though

This is a superb piece of equipment for the price. I have a chronic back issue and cannot believe how this has helped me. I also have a knee problem which gives me little pain whilst on the x-trainer. The only tiny negative is the positioning of the water bottle as I find it difficult to get to. I read the reviews about setting it up and the only struggle we had was the fly wheel. One side, RHS from looking from the rear, we had to redo a few times but now is super quiet. It’s totally fantastic and I’m loving it.

Jeff P

The product itself is very good and would probably rate 5 stars. What stops me giving this rating are two things. First of all I had to input credit card details to activate the console. This gives me access to a group training app which I have no interest in using and will not use. It says 30 days free trial. I will be extremely annoyed if another payment is taken. I have sent an email saying I don’t which to continue beyond the 30 days but have had no reply. Secondly 5ere were some issues in assembly. Although the instructions are relatively straightforward to follow on one occasion the labelling was the wrong way round which meant start again assembling the correct side first. Also some of the screws were extremely difficult to screw in fully in fact those on one of the plastic covers proved impossible so I had to resort to black tape to hold this part together - it actually looks ok. So good for exercise but allow plenty of time for assembly and be aware a card is needed to activate the console

Great cross trainer for the money. Folds up to push up in the corner. Feels sturdy for home equipment. Would def recommend

Stefan P

Easy to assemble, feels good and solid. Getting a few squeaks (from the machine!) and am still adjusting the levelling feet to get it right which is proving harder than expected.

Sarah s

Enjoying cross trainer is ok for my 6ft son. Did take a long time to put together not a 5 minute job.

Jo M

Love it... smooth action, and it folds up, not that I've been folding it up much. Bluetoothing to my pad and working my way round Yosemite Park has been great fun!

This is my first ever piece of keep fit equipment. I bought it because I have knee and shoulder problems (arthritis) and found that walking hurt my knees after a period of walking. I don't get the 'shock' of heels hitting a hard surface with a cross trainer so I think it is great for me. At first I could only do five minutes at a time on low resistance, after a week i was up to 10 mins, now on week 4 I am doing 20 mins. A handy tablet holder keeps me entertained :) It took me just over an hour to set up, a process that I found quite easy to do. It also folds up so will take less space when not in use. The only criticism I have is that the LCD display is not back lit so if you want to keep track of your progress you will need to use it in a well lit area.

John-Bruce Fownes

I've been using this for 3 weeks now. Putting it together was OK if a bit fiddly but the machine is really good. It's not like something you'll find in a gym but it's big and solid. It's quiet enough to use early in the mornings without waking my partner and it's very simple to operate. Resistance is pretty good and even though I'm reasonably fit I can't do more than a few minutes on top level so plenty good enough for me. Given the price I can't really offer any serious criticism, though the folding process could be a touch quicker. All in all very pleased with my purchase.

Sophie

Our new cross trainer was delivered yesterday and we've just finished assembling it and having a go. Assembly is ok and wasn't too much of a problem (though some bits could be easier to fit together) and the cross trainer itself is really a lot more stable than some reviews we read seemed to say. We're not the smallest of people (hence the cross trainer :) ) and it seems perfectly steady when we're on it. It's nice and quiet and it's also very smooth. I'm really happy with it so far and would recommend it as I think it's really good value.

Lewis

Fast delivery. Item exactly as expected. Definitely not a toy but a proper cross trainer.
