The LunaRun from Viavito is a full-feature treadmill that is perfectly suited to those with limited space. It can be folded fully flat vertically or horizontally to be stored under a bed. Powered by a true 1.25 horsepower (continuous duty) motor, the LunaRun delivers a top speed of 16 kph (10 mph) and has electronically controlled incline of up to 10%. The running belt is 42cm (16.5”) by 125cm (49.2”) and coupled with the nicely cushioned deck, provides an excellent platform for indoor jogging. A bright, back-lit LCD display provides all the necessary workout feedback and the combination of console short cut keys and handlebar controls enables easy control of the machine. There are 12 pre-set programmes that are designed by a certified personal trainer as well as 3 user-defined ones for the ultimate in flexibility. The machine requires minimal assembly as it’s already 90% pre-assembled in the box.

Flat-Folding Design

With a clever folding mechanism that delivers a folded footprint of just 26cm x 76cm (10.2” x 29.9”), the Viavito LunaRun is a super-compact running machine that can be placed against a wall or inside a cupboard to maximise your living space when not in use. The fold-flat system makes the LunaRun ideal for all types of homes both large and small while the transport wheels mean that it’s easy for just about anyone to safely unfold it and store it away again.

Advanced Console

Track your progress and achievements via a 5” blue back-lit LCD display which provides all the training feedback you need, including speed, distance, calories and more, to ensure a safe and effective workout. The console on the LunaRun is both logical and simple to use, with intuitive menus that are easy to understand and 19 different workout options to keep you on your toes. 2 user profile slots allow you to enter personal data such as gender, age, weight and height to get user-specific feedback for more accurate training information. In addition, a set of stereo speakers and an audio input socket are built-in so you can listen to your favourite running tunes during your workout. The units of distance can be displayed in kilometres or miles per hour so you can choose the unit of measurement you like best.

True 10% Incline

The LunaRun features a true 10% electronically controlled motorised incline to help you effectively work your calves, hamstrings and glutes and maximize your cardio workout. Engage in demanding workouts and burn your way through far more calories than while jogging or running on a flat surface thanks to this challenging and effective incline system.

Is this suitable for me to use daily for a 30 minute jog?

Yes absolutely!

What is the warranty on the motor

The warranty for the LunaRun is 2 years parts and labour (must register within 28 days to get 2nd year).

Is it easy enough to use and store away each day?

Hi. Operation of this model can be as simple as pressing stop and go. It's also easy to store. You simply fold it flat by pulling the release handle and then lift it onto its end. This is not a heavy treadmill and is easy lift.

What is the maximum user weight?

The LunaRun offers a maximum user weight of 90kg (198.4lbs).

Would this be suitable for runs of over two hours?

Absolutely. The LunaRun will easily cope with that kind of use.

Can I keep this treadmill in my garage?

If your garage is insulated and is warm and dry throughout the year then it will be OK. However if it's an ordinary garage without heating/insulation we'd say it's better not to put it in there.

Is there a tablet holder for putting your ipad on?

Hi. Yes, The LunaRun has a shelf in the middle of the console.

I've got limited space but wanted a proper treadmill. I've seen a few 'compact' treads and they seem quite lightweight. What's this one like?

Hi. The LunaRun is actually a lot sturdier than the stated dimensions would indicate. You can get a proper workout on it and it really does feel very steady. It's small, but it's not flimsy by any means.

I'd like to order this treadmill but wanted to ask if it's suitable for training 7 days a week. Would be for about 35 min per day.

Absolutely. The LunaRun is designed for daily use and half an hour or so will be fine. If you have more than 2 people wanting to use it daily for that amount then it's important that you regularly lubricate it to prevent the belt drying out.

Can you send someone to assemble the treadmill for us?

Hi. There's no need. The Viavito LunaRun is pre-assembled. Just unpack it, follow some simple instructions, plug it in and get running!

We bought this during 1st lockdown mainly because of the good reviews and the fact that it folds so flat as we are limited for space when not using it. We were looking for a straightforward machine without too many bells and whistles. We like: ease of set up; reliability (after 6 months’ use); speed and inclination features are perfect for our standard of running .. a 55 min 10K-er and a 5k plodder; competitive price and excellent delivery from Sweatband. We don’t like: bottle holders (waste of time, too shallow, but absolutely not a deal-breaker); it’s noisy in use but to be expected given its foldability. Overall so far we’re delighted with it and would recommend it. Just don’t expect professional gym heavyweight standard equipment.

Excellent treadmill. Usually I run outdoors but wanted to avoid the mob of new runners who have appeared since lockdown & have little etiquette/would push their own gran out the way to make a Strava time. Efficient use of space and folds away nicely when not in use. Only slight flaw is the bottle holder is too shallow as others commented - but not a dealbreaker for me. Great service from Sweatband too-friendly and a pleasure to buy from at a good price too.

I bought the LunsaRun because I needed a treadmill that folds up and needs the minimum amount of space, and that's exactly what it does. The footprint is tiny, and easy to move around, so it's prefect if you have limited space. The accuracy is good and the buttons/features all work well. A couple of points where it needs to improve are the rigidity and the bottle holders. When running, especially at speed, the dashboard does move quite a bit, so I've fixed this with some gaffer tape and rubber spacers. The bottles holders are useless, so I ended up cutting off the bottoms so a bottle actually fits! And there's no way a tablet or smartphone will stay put in the holder when running; I fixed this with a huge elastic band. In summary I'd recommend this if you need a folding treadmill.

After a lot of research we purchased the Viavito Lunarun Fold Flat Treadmill. With limited space it had to be used in our hall and folded up after every use. It has been used every day for the last six months and folds completely to stand securely and flush against our hall wall. The track is an excellent size and a lot bigger than a lot of other treadmills. I only wish I'd purchased one years ago never thinking we had sufficient space. Although heavy to lift at first I soon got used to it and I can now put it away with ease. Being an asthmatic I have never been able to walk very fast and after six months I am now jogging within my daily routine.

I have bought this treadmill for my mother during lockdown in July 2020. She has used it nearly every day since. Best investment we he made in along time. She is so happy? Which makes us happy in return. The treadmill is still working fine. It folds into a really small space to make some more room when needed.

Still going good to this day. Build quality is ok for the price and have been using this often. I don’t use the fold function as it has not worked as planned but I am able to leave it standing which doesn’t hinder the workouts. Minor issues does arise such as rubber being chipped away but the belt is still good with care.

Really pleased with this treadmill. Use it approx four times a week at present for about 5k each time. Folds away but have decided to keep it out to encourage me to run. (Even though it’s easy to put away/ fold out it’s easy not use to use it when it’s folded away). Programmes etc easy enough to use and has safety cord. The only frustrating point is the cup holders are so shallow you can’t actually hold water bottles in it.
