Absolutely NO regrets! As a 59 year old reasonably fit woman and after very extensive research into rowing machines, I was delighted to find this new model for an incredible price, which I ordered on a Saturday evening and received on the Tuesday afternoon - superfast turnaround. Assembly was very straight forward, albeit a little difficult on my own as it was quite a job to remove from the box due to it being so well packaged - so that's not a negative at all. Dismantling the two parts for storage and putting back together again isn't entirely easy but I'm very sure will become second nature with practice. The machine itself is incredibly well made, clearly built to last (as long as it's properly maintained of course) and a joy to use. The footrest straps remain secure in use and the footrests themselves large enough for the biggest feet, with mine at size 8 so I can't comment for anyone in a smaller size. The handlebar is very comfortable, as is the seat, which I have every confidence in sitting on as it's sturdy and already assembled on the rail when purchasing. The machine is also incredibly quiet, which is a relief as I'm in a second floor flat. I've yet to test out the depth of the resistance as it's been many years since I've rowed, but currently on level 2 it gives me a good workout - I'm very much looking forward to raising my game! The machine is good and feels almost identical to a concept 2 machine. The only negative is the data from the monitor which, if you want to compare it to concept 2 data, is very in accurate, so no use for specific distance training or using with any online apps. If you have a Heart Rate monitor, that reads accurately so fine for doing timed sessions based on HR.
