DKN XC-190 Elliptical Cross Trainer

This is brilliant!! I didn't want a machine that I had to have a subscription with, so I was drawn to this one. I already have a DKN exercise bike which I'm really happy with, but I wanted to get a fuller body workout. It is reassuringly robust and heavy, my husband and I managed to set it up between us and we're 58 and 61 - so if we can do it . . . I know some have said it's a little basic or retro, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do. I can't compare it to other machines as it's my first, but I'm really happy with it.

Very solid and very heavy, but relatively easy assembly. Delivery company offered to put it together which was worth the cost (£150) as it needed to go upstairs. Excellent price and the process of buying very easy. Sweatband very helpful sending a formal invoice which is needed for the warranty by email when asked. Calorie readout represents only the energy expended rather than calories burnt by user so initially disappointing figure after 30 minutes vigorous use! Took about a week to get used to the machine as felt somewhat different to my previous machine but overall fairly happy

We bought this cross trainer to replace a well used older machine. The new machine is very smooth and sturdy ...it comes partially built so no real issue with assembly

...although it is handy to have two people for positioning the fly wheel ..otherwise no problem. It has a good range of programs although the display is not the most modern it's suitable for what we need ...we really purchased this trainer for its stability and sturdiness ..and so far its been great
