From Equipment to Apparel: Sweatband Broadens its Offerings with Half Human Partnership.
Sweatband Ltd, the online sports and fitness equipment retailer, has acquired Half Human company as a part of plans to move into the athlete sportswear and fitness supplement market.
Founded by Ben Norman in 2018, Half Human sells premium fitness clothing and a range of plant-based supplements that are free of gluten, CMO, artificial colours and flavours.
Maz Darvish, chief executive of Sweatband.com, said:
“Athleisure wear and nutrition are both important product categories that are popular with our existing customer base of sports and fitness equipment buyers. As such Half Human is an ideal first transaction as part of our wider brand acquisition strategy”.
