Good quality compresses well, but bounces back to its original shape; can roll heavy weights over top (40kg) and doesn't leave a mark after being removed. nicely padded, insulates between floor and top.

I brought this mat to stop our newly purchased rowing machine from sliding during use on our kitchen floor, Karndean flooring is not a good base for gym equipment! It works so well I am happy to recommend this mat and it is also very soft to use as a floor mat for other exercises too, great item.

It’s a good size but I found when trying to manoeuvre my pro form rowing machine onto it, and it took two of us to do this, the mat easily tore. So I’m left with a tear in it now.

The mat has the right density of material to stabilise the machine and protect the floor. It’s also a great size, if you choose to use it for floor work.

Very good quality mat which is helping to protect the carpet. When first opened the mat did smell of rubber but after a day or so, no longer does and also helps in reducing and noises.

Mat came as a freebie with an excellent rowing machine, not sure I would have paid the listed price for it, but have little idea what these things normally cost? It's a perfectly adequate good sized medium weight mat, not sure what else to say about it....

It’s probably serves its purpose for laying under the cross trainer.

Used under a heavy treadmill. It was difficult to keep completely flat while moving equipment on top of it. It is thick enough to protect the carpet and provide some additional sound deadening. It is larger than required so it would be better if they offered a range of sizes. The quality looks good but long term resistance to sweat and wear and tear is unknown yet. £70 RRP is ridiculous considering what it is and the competition. Most retailers have it at half this price although even then it is still expensive. Would not have bought it without a further substantial discount.

excellent quality, thick and big enough for a big treadmill

I use the mat beneath my treadmill and it does a great job of providing support and reducing sound/noise when running. It's also easy to keep clean around my exercise area.

This Viavito 220x110 cm High Impact 6mm Gym Equipment Mat is big enough so you can put a whole indoor rowing machine on top and that is why I love it. It arrives rolled up but within a few days of being unrolled it is lying flat on our wooden floor and it helps to prevent the rowing machine slipping during a vigorous workout.

This is a great gym mat and a large size - it did rip a Little bit though when I moved the treadmill on it which was probably my fault for the method I was using but it could probably be a bit tougher. Still delighted with it however.

Good product - More soft and spongy than I was expecting so can rip and damage easily. However, now it is under the treadmill it is protecting both the floor and the equipment.

Very big mat and while it looks very thin, it really does provide great support and absorb the impact. The material used to make this mat seems to recover it shape where it supports the machine so it does not appear to be damaged by the weight of the machine. A bit smelly at first though but the scent soon disappates.

I have received the Viavito High Impact mat as a free gift with a water rowing machine. The mat is a perfect size to sit the rowing machine on and although soft seems fairly sturdy. No complaints but may be a tad expensive for what it is.

Heavy mat used on a wooden floor to set a rowing machine on. Works well at deadening the sound of the water rower and better quality than expected given the price. Stays in place on a waxed wooden floor which is helpful. Rolls up easily when not in use.
