Great product, handles are a bit far and difficult to reach comfortably for a short person. Very quiet. Hardest setting could be a bit more difficult otherwise but perfect from home exercise.

At £329.99 this is good value for money. I have 3 eliptical trainers in the house and this is the least expensive so I would not expect it to be comparable to our other two models. Construction information was good and clearly marked. I would advise any purchaser to clean up the moving axles with something like white spirit and give them a good amount of proper grease which will prolong their life. I found the amount of grease they had packed was insufficient but I am quite fussy with how I set about tasks. The electrical connection at the computer screen end is a bit small so you will have to ensure that none of the connecting pins are bent and when you ease the two parts together give them a good push until you feel they are driven home. The maximum level 32 won't make you feel as if your leg muscles are on fire but overall the machine is worth more than the price I was quoted.

This is very good for the money. I've used it daily for three weeks and apart from a couple of squeaks - remedied by WD40 - it seems a solid and reliable piece of kit. Time will tell of course But so far so good, surprisingly.

I bought this to replace a previous cross-trainer that had broken and would have cost too much to repair (which seems ridiculous in today's world when we need to conserve as much as possible - boo to Nordic Track). Anyway, I was very pleased with my purchase of the Viavito Sina Elliptical Cross Trainer. It came in several parts as shown in the photo, well packed in a strong cardboard box. It took around an hour to assemble with clear instructions from the manual. The fact that all the washers, nuts, bolts etc. were sealed into a clearly labelled blister pack was very helpful. I have been using it daily for just over three weeks now, with a 45 minute user program, and so far I'm very happy with the quietness of the machine (but see below) and its performance. It seems very robustly constructed, but time will tell whether it holds up to regular use over time. Some pros and cons: (1) The computer unit is very clear to read and I like that it's bright and uses two colours (blue and white). (2) There are several built in exercise programs, but I love that you can program in and save your own program (which I have done). (3) The read out, during exercise, gives you a time count down, speed and RPM, distance travelled (estimate), heart rate (if you have a monitor belt or use the grips), and watts. (4) It features a heart rate monitor as noted (which many others do) but this one measures your recovery rate and rates it on a 6 point scale. (5) You can also store individual user profiles with gender, age and weight, and it gives you your BMI and body fat score. (6) When putting it together, there are three possible locations for the footpads, about 5cms apart, so you can choose to set it up to suit your posture. On the not-so-good side: (1) It does tend to wobble a bit (and yes I have made sure the feet are properly levelled, and it sits on a thick wooden board for stability). I think this is probably true of all cross trainers because of course as you use the machine your weight is alternating from one side to the other. My concern is whether it is robust enough to last - my last two machines both broke due to this issue, i.e. wear and tear on the machine where it is fitted on to the legs. (2) It also has a distinct squeak on one side when I first step on to the machine (though this goes away when used "in anger") and I will dis-assemble the relevant parts and re-grease; but they were well greased originally, so it's a bit of a concern. (3) Finally, it has no place to put a tablet so that you can watch a video (or whatever) while you exercise. I have rigged up something that works for me, but you'd think this would be factored in in modern cross trainers. All in all, very happy so far; just a little concerned at how long it will last under constant use.

Very pleased with the cross trainer, which is quiet and runs smoothly and clearly much better than the many cheaper models on the market. What is not up to scratch is the computer, which looks as if it comes straight from the Pacman Minesweeper era, a real let-down. The assembly video was very clear, which makes my difficulty assembling the axle and the two arms all the more incomprehensible. The bolts securing the arms just did not screw down easily and remained proud of the axle. Having refitted the axle and washers a dozen times, I can only conclude that the bolts are too long. Very frustrating. But fortunately, it has not made any difference to the operation of the cross trainer. Conclusion: good in parts.

I'm very glad I bought this cross trainer and my fitness has improved a lot in the two months I've had it. It seems generally robust and has smooth movement. There have been a few minor issues: a couple of the steps in the assembly were a little tricky, most significantly the two front bolts on the lower arms on both sides didn't line-up with the threaded holes accurately. I had to disconnect the rear fixing, then attach the front bolts, then bend the arm a little (which didn't take a lot of force) to get everything aligned properly. The cross trainer squeaks a bit at times and a number of the bolts work loose with time - I now check them most times I use the cross-trainer, which takes less than a minute. We also can't find how to change the user profiles from one saved profile to another, without disconnecting the power. Just minor issues and overall I'm happy with the cross trainer.

Absolutely great! Delivery was a bit long, waited for 2 month to arrive but that was in the peak where everyone was buying home workout equipment. It’s very silent, works really well and is stable! I really love the programme settings! I would highly recommend for home workouts.

Very sturdy and quiet when in use. I paid someone to put it together for me and they had no problems. They were impressed with how it was packaged and the instruction for assembly.

Having previously used the Viavito Sina Elliptical Cross Trainer, I was impressed with the quality, which was also at a reasonable price. Very sturdy machine. Very minor point - irritating squeaks at times, but sorted with a little spray of lubricant. Would definitely recommend this machine.

Assembly is OK if you've built some flat-pack furniture, but make sure you tighten all the bolts fully, otherwise you'll get annoying squeaks when using it. Solid build, doesn't feel flimsy when putting the work into the exercise. Remember it is heavy and if using it on a carpet it will sink in very quickly! Suggest a decent carpet protector if not putting it on a solid floor. Good user interface and electronic resistance control means you can set a workout and just concentrate on it without playing about with knobs and wheels. Slight criticisms: the calorie burn seems high - 400 cals for a 20-min workout; not able to change time/date without full reset; pulse function can take 40-50 seconds to reach equilibrium - the recover function is only 60 seconds, so you need to get the pulse settled before using the recover function. However, these minor points don't stop you getting a good workout. Overall, I'm glad I got it, so I just need to keep using it, plus snack less and drink less to lose those lockdown pounds!!

The machine is well built and inspires quality. The program dash board however is not intuitive and the instructions not easy to understand, may be not even related to the same programme board. Using it is trial and error for both of us.

Extremely well made cross trainer for the price, the mechanical and electrical build quality are very good. Provides a wide range of resistance and smooth operation with it's reasonably good flywheel weight. The only down side is the embedded electronics - tracking of calories / distance etc isn't very accurate, and the user profiles tend not to stick. However, I would still buy it again and recommend.

I'm a 61 years old woman, who needs to up my exercise. I wanted a xtrainer to use at home. I found this xtrainer easy to put together on my own with the instruction manual and easy to use( l was able to lift all the parts myself, but would of been easier to lift the wheel with help). I would recommend this to anyone.

A robust cross trainer that is excellent value for money

Our old cross trainer failed and after some research we found Sweatband who were able to supply exactly what we required. The Vivato Sina meets all our requirements and is soundly built. Two very satisfied users.

Straightforward to assemble. Good solid piece of equipment. It feels sturdy when using it. Very smooth action when using the cross trainer. I alternate using it with the static hand bars as well as the gliding ones. I'm extremely pleased I bought this, and would recommend it

I am quite happy with this purchase, I checked a number of possibilities but thought this seemed about the best match for my funds and needs. I usually train on my rowing ergo and indoor bike, but a shoulder tendon issue meant that I had to stop, for the moment, using the ergo and this machine has given me another option. I had a knee replacement operation 9 months ago, and the motion of this machine is fairly kind to the knee joint. It works well, up to expectations, I enjoy using it. The working of the monitor, though, is a little less than obvious, everything is there but perhaps not quite as intuitive as might be. Overall, very pleased.

Sweatband have been excellent from ordering, delivery and now to returning the item. The item itself... really poor. On my first work out something didn't feel right. I wasn't centred properly on the trainer and there was a distinct rocking motion. I then noticed the arms/pedals were different distances from the body of the machine and it was this that was causing the rocking motion. Offered a new item but decided to pay a bit more and get something decent.

I bought this just as lockdown started and as a family we’ve used it regularly since (6 months plus). It does the job well. It is a bit clonky but WD40 usually helps. You need to add a water bottle holder (we did) and it would be good to have a ledge for a phone or ipad. I use one of the personalised settings to show BMI and fat levels and mostly run it in manual. All in all I’m very pleased with it, particularly for the price. It’s obviously not as well-made as a gym-level cross-trainer but it is great for a piece of home equipment.

Terrible machine and a total waste of money. Assembly is fairly straightforward but if you're looking to do any kind of intensive workout, this will literally fall apart. We've had replacement front and rear stabilisers due to the fixings breaking and now we have a horrendous clunking noise coming from the flywheel. Sweatband support have tried to be helpful but its a slow process so we're giving up and buying something decent. Don't waste your money.

I've had this cross trainer for nearly 2 months now and i have to be perfectly honest.. for the money i paid ,it's rubbish. It has a decent fly wheel but that's the only positive. The console is very cheap looking and the buttons are nasty. I haven't used the in built programs yet, just manual setup. i was on it for 10 minutes last week and it told me i had just completed 5k ( i wish ). And if that's not bad enough, it rocks side to side and does not feel very stable at all. (i'm an engineer so i know its assembled correctly) it certainly is not worth £400 ,have used much cheaper machines that perform better!!

I've had this machine for a couple of months now and I'm really pleased with it. I've never put together a cross trainer before, but following the instructions I had the machine built in about 90 minutes. It's sturdy and reasonably quiet, not silent at all but it's not too bad. Accessing and using the built-in programmes is easy and you can set up your own (I confess I haven't dabbled much with this feature yet). The screen and controls are clear, if not very exciting to look at. The resistance is good and easy to change with a tough workout available right from the off. I also purchased the wireless chest strap and this works a treat, offering very useful pulse information to the workout screen. My only criticism is that although there are wheels at one end of the machine, these are made out of horribly cheap plastic and you have to tip the cross trainer quite a bit to move it about on them. But it's a minor niggle and otherwise the Sina is a cracking piece of kit for the money.

Good solid machine, got a bit of a squeak but nothing a bit of WD40 can't sort out. Manual that comes with is great for putting machine together but rubbish as a user manual could do with more step by step information in it regarding the programmes

Assembly is ok and straight forward, no issue with sweatband who I bought it from but the program design side by the manufacturer is terrible. Really struggling to do the simplest of tasks without getting error messages or it just hanging . Had it 2 weeks now and it still is a nightmare to program and use . Not a happy experience at all.

A very high spec cross trainer for the money. Best bits - very easy to put together with instructions and easy to follow online video. Personalise user data which is very handy. It’s a nice size, not as big as I expected it to be so doesn’t look cumbersome in a smallish room. I love how quiet it is, my previous machine was so noisy. Overall a great product with huge value for money.

Started with a basic home elliptical trainer and decided we would upgrade this year - The Viavito Sina seemed like a good choice as an entry point in the semi professional line and has some good reviews. Delivery was prompt and well communicated and we are blown away by the device - it is so smooth in operation, quiet and just an excellent addition to a home gym. Not a single squeak or rattle, works perfectly. I have no complaints and only one observation - it is not a small device - check specs for measurements. In Summary a really excellent piece of kit for a very reasonable price - we are very please with the Sina.

I am very pleased and impressed with my Viavito Sina Cross Trainer . It really gives me a very good workout. I haven’t had it very long , and at first I could only manage 10 mins , now I can just manage 20 mins , by then I’m completely out of breath ! It’s surprisingly quiet , I hoped it would be and I’m not disappointed .

This is a high quality cross trainer which is a very quiet and smooth in action I am using it daily and so far it has proved to be reliable and effective for fitness and weight loss. My only minor negative is that the programming could be better explained and I have noted that in the heart rate monitor mode the whole system pauses if you exceed the upper rate. This can happen without your noticing it which is rather annoying if you're trying to do a long session without interruption. This is a small point however and overall I rate this piece of equipment very highly.

My partner & I assembled the crosstrainer together and found it fairly simple. I have been using it for the last 3 weeks and it works well. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this machine.

Having just had a baby I wanted to purchase a cross trainer in order to help me strengthen my core and lower back, as well as to hopefully lose some weight. This machine was the best value for money I could find after extensive research. It was delivered promptly and the delivery team happily took it upstairs for me. My brother assembled it on his own in about an hour. It was straight forward to put together but he used his own tools to do it. After using it a couple of times it did need retightening and it is a little wobbly if you are going fast, that said it is on carpet with me so maybe a mat would be better. I may also use some wd40 on it as it is a little squeaky. I’d expect that from a new product. I found the controls easy to use and set. I’m using manual at the moment as the programmes are a bit much for me yet. Once I’m less stiff I’ll be working through them. Having used gym standard cross trainers for over 15 years I am very pleased with this product for the money. It also means I can exercise at home, when baby is sleeping. I am very unfit and this certainly gives me a good workout, with the added bonus of heart rate monitor grips and cool down feature. The only thing lacking is somewhere to put my phone while I listen to music. I have purchased a phone grip online so I’m hoping this will do the trick. I would recommend this machine to anyone wanted to get back into fitness, or for those who are fit but want something cost effective to use at home.

A sturdy and quiet machine, downside is the programmes are not easy to use. You have to go through a lot of button pushing to find what you want / need

I had a problem with my machine, but Rob from sweatband.com came over to my place personally and tightened a few of the fittings. He also showed me how to just tighten them up incase it becomes loose again and starts squeaking. The machine no longer makes the squeaking noise it had been making and runs really smoothly. It's a great machine, it's very solid and feels like good quality for the price.

It runs smoothly so that is good. There is one small minor point. The connector to the main display units does not stay in very well. It would be good to replace the on board connector with a connector with a lock so the cable does not fall out.

Some (very) slight niggles: - Heart beat monitor on handles very erratic which makes using the recovery option impossible - Slightly stiff - needs to be on most forward settings for pedals to get enough torque to make it usable for my wife

Very impressed for a domestic use cross trainer. It works very well and the controls and very good once you get used to them. The jog wheel is a great improvement on the buttons. It is stable on carpet but does move a little. Having it on a hard surface would eliminate this I believe. Two snags, ours has developed a creak occasionally on one side, it tends to come and go from time to time. I've tightened everything up and that helped a little but it still turns up every now and again. Not a big deal for us as we have music on when using it. The other this is the lack of a drinks bottle holder. These are £3 from eBay. For the sake of drilling a couple of self rappers in to the frame, this would have greatly improved the finish for us.

Delivered on time and as per the supplier said. The instructions supplied in the box are very difficult to follow, small items in the blister pack are almost impossible to identify, you definitely need to watch the YouTube video to get it right. That said everything was in the box, and it went together without any issues whilst following the video, overall it’s very quiet and gas plenty of programs and variations to go at. The only downsides, there was slight damage to the main down tube (not worth replacing) and is there is no holder for a drinks bottle on the frame. Other than that very happy with it. It gets used 4/5 times a week and is useful when the weather is bad.

This is my first cross trainer. After reading a number of reviews about which one I wanted, I decided upon the Sina Elliptical. It was within the price range I was happy to pay especially with a discount code, and the specifications were similar to some pricier brands. It did take my husband and I a couple of hours to put together but it is a very sturdy, well made piece of machinery. I'm still getting used to some of the programs but have enjoyed using it so far.

This is a very good machine. Lots of features and very quiet mechanically. Assembly is straightforward as long as you follow the instructions. Is also priced very competitively but does not feel cheap. Highly recommended.

Once youve spent a couple of hours putting it together an excellent piece of kit, runs silent and very steady when in use. The programmes are cheeky and give you a good mix, all in all well worth the money

Hi, Have been using the Elliptical cross trainer for a month now, and is very good, feels sturdy, but does wobble a small big if I really pick up the pace. The levels and programmes are very good as well as the ability to add users and display in metric or imperial mesaurements. In terms of the soul person of exercising and getting fit it does provide a very good work out and can feel the pain / gain

For a compact cross trainer I think it is excellent, I'm 105kg and 1.85m and it works well for me, with more than enough resistance to give me a good workout. Once assembled the build quality is very good, with nice touches like the "boots" to cover one of bearings. There is an excellent assembly video on the internet which is very useful as he assembly instructions are on an Ikea level. All in all a good piece of apparatus at.an excellent price.

Good sturdy machine. Easy to use and programme. Assembly did need two people especially when attaching some of the parts where joints were not quite in alignment. Would certainly recommend this cross trainer.

This machine is a definite "value for money" product, check out its specifications & price to others on the internet to see for yourself. As to hands on, it is smooth running, quiet, well made and easy to assemble * * I have allowed this product its rating despite having a misalignment of forward pedal arm holes with lower handles, on the grounds that the after sales service, of genuine concern, continual communication throughout, responsiveness and efficiency in dealing with this was first class, all sorted within the week of having first received the product. For me after sales service is a far greater measure of a companies professionalism, honesty and respect to its customers than the initial sale. No hesitation in recommending Sweatband or indeed this product.

Bought for wife to save gym costs as she just wanted to burn some fat and some cardio. The cost of the machine will be paid for in 3 months by saving daily gym costs. Plus saves time actually going to the gym and can be used when convenient. This machine burns fat and gives cardio workout perfectly. 11 stone down to 10 stone in 6 weeks with body toning. Achieved exactly what was wanted. Used 30 minutes daily now for 9 weeks. The machine was very easy to install with the build quality second to none. Very smooth action. Havent had to tighten any fittings yet but will do so, just as general maintenance. Had doubts as a previous similar priced machine was useless. The computer is excellent with so many options. No iphone or ipad connectivity but not required, just set music device close by. Overall an excellent purchase and excellent value for money, which is difficult to find these days.

This is a great machine which compares favourably with much more expensive cross trainers. It is a well built machine and the read our features are admirable. The only disappointment was the lack of a drinking bottle holder as stated in the sale details. Overall very pleased with the whole package.

Smooth motion, comfortable and secure foot plates, compact size. From turning on to starting your user program takes lots of button pressing every time which is tedious. Not particularly stable, wobbles from side to side. Better than our old trainer which was quite old. Overall good value for the price.

A very nice piece of kit. And not just "for the money" It's not the same quality as the one in the gym but then it is a fraction of the cost and isn't being used 8hrs a day. For me, a person who uses it most evenings in between mountain biking at the weekend. It's great. I have been using mine for a few weeks and have been very impressed. I like using the programs as they give me a really good work out. I'm 185cm tall and find it big enough, stride wise. It does wobble side to side a little but it's got almost 14 stone going at it so it's a minor niggle. The build quality is very good, it took me just over an hour to put it together, would be easier with 2 people. I would recommend the machine with out hesitation.

Needed a cross trainer and luckily received this one as a Christmas present. All good so far lots of levels of resistance for me to improve my fitness levels. Was surprised by the quality of the machine especially considering its low price.

Needed to lose a bit of weight but didn't feel like joining a gym. Decided on the Sina as it had great reviews and for a low price, I fancied it. Been using it 3/4 times a week and it's quiet, smooth and stable. Well worth the money!

I'm competing in a bodybuilding show so this was bought as part of my prep. I use it every morning and evening for 30 minutes combined with weight training. The machine itself is great it was easy to put together and was delivered very quickly. I'm 5'6 and have recently felt a strain in my lower back which could be down to the position I take whilst on it. Very happy with it nonetheless and glad I made the purchase.

I couldn't be happier with this buy. From the day I've purchased it to the delivery and assembly everything was as simple and straight forward as I was told it would be. I use it every day for around 45 minutes instead of going to the gym like I used to. I use the different functions and like to up the resistance to push myself harder. It's delivering all I need it to. Glad I went for this one.

I've owned this cross trainer for a several weeks now and have used it roughly 6-7 times. I usually have 15 minute training sessions at low resistance and it's ideal for me. Really good value product as it does everything I need and it's also really quiet.

Nice bit of a kit. Quality does not reflect the price tag one bit. It seems to be of similar spec to machines nearly double the ?.

This is actually the first Cross trainer that I have ever ordered andI'm very pleased and impressed. It arrived promptly and was very simple to put together (30 minutes or so) . In terms of use and functionality I have been using it about 2-3 times a week for up to 25 minutes at a time and it's been great! Lots of resistance levels and programmes to be getting on with and the display is bright, clear and easy to read. It's nice and quiet and feels smooth and comfortable when you're on it. I don't claim to be an expert on these but this one feels good and I'd recommend it.

Great machine for the cost. Does everything we need it to do. Only slight niggle is the fact that the original power adaptor wasn't long enough so we bought a new one for it so it can reach the mains socket.

I was surprised at how and stable and smooth this machine is! I bought this to replace a cheap ellipticaI I bought a couple of years ago and it's so nice to use that I'm finding that I'm actually using it, rather than finding excuses not to do my 30-minute workouts! Really like that it's got a switch to change between kilometers and miles as I can't think in kilometers at all. Superb value for money!

Really nice machine to use. I particularly like the user profiles as both my boyfriend and myself use the machine and it's really good to get accurate calorie feedback. Have already recommended it to my parents who are looking for low impact exercise machine.

Having decided to swap the gym membership for a cross trainer of our own we went for the Sina from Viavito. Delivery was really quick (well done sweatband) and hassle free. Assembly was easy enough and took us just over an hour with no problems to speak of. Once built up it took a few minutes to get our heads around how the console works (though really should read the manual I guess) and it's all pretty simple. The screen is nice and bright and clear and displays all the information on speed, calories, resistance etc in one go on the right and then alternately in large letters in the middle of the screen which is nice as when you're building up a sweat it's easy to see. The workout itself is pretty good. It's smooth and quiet and on the hardest setting it really is quite hard so def presents a challenge. While it obviously doesn't feel like the machine at the gym I wouldn't expect it to for the price paid. All in all we're really happy with it and I'd say in all honesty it's more than we expected for the money.

We've had the cross trainer for a little while now and so far no troubles. It's simple and easy to put together and for the price it feels good to use. I'm not exactly a small bloke and don't feel as though my weight is overbearing for it either. Perfect for what we needed. Marking down 1 start because of a scratch on the body of the trainer which is disappointing but overall happy with it.

This is the first cross trainer I have ever purchased so can't compare it with anything else but so far I'm over the moon with it! been using it every other night for a few weeks now and am very surprised with how smooth the motion is especially when considering how cheap this was compared to other models. I created my own user profile with my age weight and height so I can monitor how many calories I'm burning. The HRM is a massive pus too. Cheers Sweatband :)
