Forgiving & Easy To Handle

Designed with beginners in mind, the Z2 racket features a round head shape making it easy to handle and more forgiving to play with. Its sweet spot is large and centred for maximum control and consistency. When youโ€™re new to padel, you will find it easier returning balls cleanly with a round racket.

Control Your Game

With a low balance (towards the handle), the Z2 gives players more control and a lighter, more forgiving feel. The racket is manoeuvrable and easier on the wrist and shoulder, enhancing comfort and minimising injury risk.

Comfort-first, control-oriented racket with a forgiving feel

Extra Bounce & Speed

The soft EVA core enhances playing comfort, absorbs unwanted vibrations and adds extra bounce to ensure faster and more powerful shots with less effort. Offering a cushioning effect, it is a great option for players who tend to suffer from joint pain and want a combination of ease of use and comfortable playability. Featuring a hybrid construction (50% fibreglass and 50% carbon), the racket combines flexibility and vibration dampening from fibreglass with strength and durability from carbon fibre to deliver versatile, balanced performance and comfortable play.

Ideal for Fast-Paced Game

The Z2โ€™s smooth hitting surface offers less friction, allows the ball to glide off the racket to ensure fast shot-making and help with precision and placement. It is suitable for players who are new to padel and want consistent contact to develop their game while learning to play with control and finesse.

My kids have used these and said they were good. No difference from much more expensive models theyโ€™ve used on holiday.

FAQ

Whatโ€™s the difference between round, teardrop, and diamond-shaped Padel rackets?

Round rackets offer the most control and are ideal for beginners. Teardrop rackets balance power and control, suiting intermediate players. Diamond-shaped rackets deliver maximum power but are less forgiving, best for advanced players.

How do I choose the right Padel racket weight?

Light rackets (340โ€“365g) are easier to handle and great for control and comfort. Heavier rackets (365โ€“390g) generate more power but require stronger technique. For beginners or players with elbow/shoulder sensitivity, a lighter racket is usually best.

How long does a Padel racket last?

Typically 6โ€“12 months for frequent players, or 1โ€“2 years for casual users. Lifespan depends on usage, playing style, and how well the racket is stored and maintained.

What does the balance of a Padel racket mean?

The balance refers to how the racketโ€™s weight is distributed โ€” and it has a big impact on how it feels to play with: Head-light balance: Offers better control and faster maneuverability, great for defensive players and quick reactions at the net. Even balance: Delivers a mix of power and control, ideal for all-round players. Head-heavy balance: Adds more power to your shots but can feel slightly heavier to handle, suiting attacking and advanced players. Choosing the right balance depends on your style of play and experience level โ€” control for beginners, power for pros, and a balanced option if youโ€™re somewhere in between.

What difference does the surface texture make on a Padel racket?

The surface texture affects how much spin and grip you can put on the ball: Smooth surfaces provide a clean strike and consistent contact โ€” great for control-focused players. Rough or textured surfaces help generate more spin and bite on the ball, giving you extra precision on volleys, slices, and lobs. In short, smooth equals control and consistency; rough equals spin and precision โ€” so pick based on the type of game you like to play.
