Perfect weight for me but could of done with a larger grip, over grip sorted the problem. Liking the extra spin I’m getting on backhand slice and topspin forehand. Great service from yourselves & look forward to getting another Head Radical in the Spring of 2023.

So far so good. Purchased due to the spec, string pattern, headsize and weight, as it seemed comparable to modern rackets that are much more expensive. I reviewed this racket online from when it appears to have been released (circa 2014ish) and it had favourable write-ups, plus some people reviewing it on YouTube. It fits my style nicely as an aggressive baseliner as I don't really need additional power, just more control which this appears to give. Don't worry about the 18/20 possibly giving reduced spin as if you have the right technique you'll still achieve good spin, as I'm finding. Serving, definitely a little less power than my prior head racket (16/19) but it seems consistent, and you can still get a good fast serve with it; perhaps a few MPH slower, but negligible really. Overall, if you don't want to spend £150+ to try out a smaller head size control orientated racket with 18/20 string pattern (just in case it didn't suit your style), this is a good option at this price to give the spec a go. Lovely grip too. I'll be buying another as a spare.

Really happy I went for this racket, plays very well and comfortable feel. I got 4 of these rackets, as got them in duo rackets deal so 2 lots of 2 as made a saving. The racket looks nice on the eye and stylish looking. This is a really good racket for an intermediate/advanced player, I play at a decent level at my club so suits me well. I feel it gives good comfort and control. Though it doesn't give as much power and punch as some rackets, it is one where you can generate somewhat of the pace yourself I'd say. Like the feel of it on the serve and feel I can generate some power there, and prefer the racket more than my last Wilson racket being able to bring my game onto another level. As a recreational player, choosing a new racket can be a minefield of jargon, buzzwords and stuff you're not sure will make any difference at all to the way you play. After much research, this racket seemed to tick the most boxes, and after 3 months I can confidently recommend. I would say this a solid, right down the middle choice for intermediate players looking to enhance their game, with the great feeling of being more in control of your shots the key highlight.

Fantastic racket. Comfy grip, great balance. I have been using Wilson rackets but fancied a change and this racket is superb. Great service from sweatband too thank you.

Plenty enough power and very good shot control. This is definitely an intermediate and upwards racquet and is not all that forgiving if you hit off centre. If you can hit consistently this is a great choice and imo plays as well as quite a few much dearer racquets. Well worth the money.

I’m a bit of a traditionalist and have been playing with my old Dunlop racquet for nearly a decade now. To mix things up I decided to try something new but wasn’t hopeful that I’d be able to find something that ticks all the boxes. This racquet however really did. It’s got a level of control that my Dunlop can only dream of and it’s also got more power in it (yes, I restring regularly) too. It’s got great balance and a good weight without being overly heavy. I’m more keen on being able to control shots rather than smash them and I’d recommend this racquet for anyone looking for the same.
