Viavito Onyx Folding Exercise Bike

I've used this for a week – no complaints. It seems to be well made, it folds and I sit on it and pedal stop

We are delighted with the acquisition of the Viavito Onyx Folding Exercise Bike. The bike arrived with all of the parts required to assemble it, all of which have a good quality feel. Its partial assembly makes it fairly easy to assemble, and there is an excellent YouTube video that can take you through the process. Once assembled it looks strikingly attractive. The pedalling experience is enjoyable with the smaller flywheel, and a very comfortable seat which is height adjustable. As the seat is closer to the handlebars than other indoor bikes we have owned, you can sit and pedal with your back straight. This is a real asset for those like me who have experienced disc problems in the back and neck over the years. Your cycling process is easily monitored with a visually striking "speedometer" that also manages time, distance in km, calories and heartbeat. This lightweight cycle is easily folded for those who want to; simply remove the locking key which is straightforward. Thanks very much Sweatband for selling us a wonderful cycle to help maintain our fitness.

This feels like a quality, well-made product even though it's relatively cheap. Pedalling is silent, so you can exercise while watching TV. Just one thing to be aware of: it's sold as a folding bike, but it only gets a bit smaller when folded. Don't expect to slide it under a bed or anything like that.

My bike was delivered promptly, it was easy to assemble, it is exactly as described, it is comfortable, I am very pleased with it.

So far so good. Am a lady of nearly 70 years of age but found the bike easy to assemble on my own when watching the YouTube video. Broke my leg earlier this year and need to supplement physio sessions with a straightforward exercise bike with various height and resistance settings. Very smooth running. As I need to move the seat up then down at each session, to aid bend of knee or straightening of leg, I find the seat-post knob slightly fiddly to locate each time but all in all this exercise bike seems to fit the bill very well and is well-worth the price.

Unfortunately I have only just assembled the bike & therefore have not had chance yet to use it. However, it is good quality & was relatively easy to put together. I struggled a bit with the alignment of screws on the handlebar section but a neighbour helped me and seemed to have no problem!!!! It was obviously me not up to the job!!!!

I purchased this exercise bike as part of our new plans for home exercise. After many years of local gym membership, we decided that due to several things including the rising covid levels locally, we would use our joint membership charges to buy good quality exercise equipment for home use. This is an excellent quality piece of kit and for a very reasonable price too! Simple to assemble and comfortable to use, I would recommend it without hesitation.

The bike is compact, well-made, easy to use and store and great value. We bought the bike for my wife who is waiting for a knee replacement, it's early days but it is allowing her to do some exercise without the pain she gets walking. I didn't think I would use it, but it's a great addition to the other exercise I do.

I just wanted a small bike in the living room so I could pedal instead of being slumped in front of tele - but still watching the tele. This Onyx is ideal. Small and light enough to move if required. Saddle not quite soft enough, but ok for short sessions.

Was advised by my physio to get an exercise bike to help heal a damaged knee, but not spend too much. This bike seemed to fit the spec. Arrived really quickly after ordering. Straightforward to construct. Comfortable seat. Easy to fold away. Using it will easily become part of my daily routine. I am not a go to the gym sort of person, this bike suits me fine. Would recommend to anyone who needs that little extra bit if exercise.

This bike does exactly what it says. Great for exercise, measuring the time, distance and pulse etc. It folds away extremely neatly and biggest thing of all, its practically silent, which was what prevented us getting one in lockdown as we were in an upstairs flat. Had we still been there we could use it well without problems for neighbours. Also, great recommendation of the company sweatband. I ordered it Monday and by the same time Tuesday I was using it! Free fast delivery is unheard of. Well done!

Having done some research, and reading other reviews, I decided to purchase this bike. It is great value for money! I have really bad knees so it is excellent for my needs. I’m no expert but, it’s doing the job. Ordered late afternoon and received the next day

This arrived the day after I ordered which I was not expecting. The bike was easy to construct following the excellent instructions. Once up it is very comfortable to use and appears very robust. Extremely pleased in every way.

The absolute best in this price range....easy to put together, easy folding and very sturdy and the info system is excellent. Guidance for the shorter rider.... I'm 5'4" and with the seat on the lowest setting my legs are not stretched to their full extent when the pedals are at their lowest point which is perfect. I did extensive research before I bought this bike and would highly recommend this bike and indeed the manufacturer for such quality. Finally, Sweatband's website was informative and their customer service excellent.

This exercise bike is great because not only is it very sturdy and well made, the fact that it is fold-able is a particularly good idea if like space is a bit limited. I would have no problem recommending this product to anybody.

Received this today and within 40 mins it was up and running. Could not believe how easy it was to put together - I watched the video pausing it every now and then. I look forward to seeing results as I will use everyday for a 20-30 min cycle. Excellent price which was reduced. Courier service great too.

Only concern was slightly unstable when dismounting. Front and back legs need to be wider.

We have been delighted with quality of the product and enjoyed it very much for exercise but we have now hit a problem with it and have been unable to get in touch with yourselves or Viavito by phone due to the current situation. A wire that was pre installed has come loose and the dial no longer informs you of what you are achieving when pedalling. It is hanging outside the computer cover and has a clear plastic head. Can you please help?

Great bike for small spaces or if you need to put it away. It folds up to about the size of an ironing board. it's easy to assemble - I personally found the youtube video much easier to follow than the written instructions. It took me about 40 mins including double checking the tightness of the bolts, getting the set the right height etc. It has really helped me keep in shape during lockdown and when it's cold and rainy and dark you can get fit with a smug smirk on your face too! It lost one star because the highest resistance is unfortunately not high enough to get a real burn. You can feel the burn by going really fast on it though!! Strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to get in, or keep in shape lockdown or not. I have even taken it outside onto my patio area and used it there!!

Had the bike four months used regularly for half hour periods no problems I’m 75 and find I can use it anywhere in the house or garden takes up little storage space. The only advice I would give to purchasers is if you have difficulty with raising your legs you have to lift them quite high to mount the bike even when stepping through the frame. While it is not overly heavy it is not light to lift.

Not enough resistance for a good workout - for me, anyway. I’ve given it to my daughter-in-law.

This bike has been a godsend in the past year. I had a knee injury and lockdown meant I couldn't use the gym bikes for rehab. The Onyx was just what I needed. Such good value for money and doesn't take up much space. I recommended to my mum who bought one too. I wouldn't recommend though if you want something for intense exercise with high tension.

Does exactly what it promised. Sturdy and well built it provides a simple (but adequate for my needs) means of exercise in a limited space and stores away very neatly at a modest cost!

The Viavito Onyx Bike has been great. The whole family has used it for the last few months, aged from 10 years old to sixty seven. It was easy to assemble and is relatively easy to carry up and down the stairs when one family member, aged fourteen has wanted to use it in their bedroom. It doesn't take up too much room which is a bonus. The controls are easy to set so that we can ride the bike according to our own requirements. It was a good price and I would recommend it for anyone really.

The bike provides me with the exercise I was used to in the gym. It was easy to build and is ideal for understair storage. Highly recommended!

I bought this bike to exercise during the lockdowns. I am 73 years old and have managed 20 miles per day for over the last 6 months which has proved to be a reliable comfortable ride. Excellent value for money.

This is without doubt my best buy of 2020. A brilliant exercise bike purchased during the first lockdown. Assembly instructions were on YouTube and the step by step instructions were excellent. I cannot fault the bike in any way. The same is for Sweatband, a brilliant company to deal with. How do I rate both the bike and Sweatband ? Easy 10/10 !

This bike is really sturdy and brilliant to use, the seat is comfortable, the gears are easy and a great way to improve your fitness. The graphics on the screen are really good too. And a big plus it’s got value for money. I’d certainly recommend this bike.

After only one month one of cheap plastic bushes in the folding mechanism has broken, considering I have never folded the bike I am not impressed. Had good quality nylon bushes had been used this problem would most likely not have happened.

For two years of moderate use, this bike was fine. Two weeks after the guarantee was up, one of the drive belts shredded. When contacted, the company told me this was an 'entry level product' and that I was expecting too much. Probably best avoided.

Great value for money and really easy to assemble. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the resistance is not as powerful as expected, I’ve kept it on the highest setting so far which feels similar to regular cycling on a low gear. Also, due to the nature/size of the bike it’s not easy to cycle standing up without hitting knees on the handles. (Not great for spin classes).

Very pleased. Some reviews have mentioned a bit high - is perfect for my 5'4" height. Very quiet, so can use when other's watching TV without annoying them! Comfortable seat and good distance/ speed feedback so that you get a sense of accomplishment and can set goals.

Ordered my Onyx folding bike on the 3rd which was unavailable until the 4th and received it on the 5th - you can’t argue with that! The website is easy to use and ordering is quick. The bike itself arrived by Yodel and needed to assembled. Rather than reading the instructions, I just watched the 7 minute You Tube video and put it together from that - very quick and easy. Once assembled, the bike feels solid and good quality. I am 5’7” and have the seat on the 3rd from the top height so there is plenty of manoeuvre for taller people. It has 8 tensions which will allow me to progress my fitness regime - I have started on number 3. The computer is clear and the HR monitor almost matches my Fitbit. It has a nice wide and well cushioned seat which is really comfortable. Folds and stores away very neatly. I am not a beginner, having been a regular spinner in the past but stopped a couple of years ago. I wish to get my fitness levels back and this amazing little bike is going to be perfect for me to achieve that. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this bike. It’s really sturdy, excellent quality and really good value for money. I’m 5ft 2 and the lowest s at setting is perfect. It folds away nearly so great if you’re short on space. There’s a decent range of resistance settings and the seat is really comfy. It’s also sturdy enough to lean on when stretching out after a work out.

Pretty good value for money and good purchase for anyone after some light exercise at home. A couple of things I think it is worth noting though: I'm 6'1 and despite the comments, the bike is too short for me - at it's full height my legs are not near a stretch and if I were to try standing up my knees would crash into the handlebars. Secondly, I do a couple of cycle classes a week and for me the highest resistance isn't heavy enough. Only having 8 levels of resistance is understandable but it would be good to have a more notable difference between these levels. That said, if like me you are looking for a compact bike to allow some exercise when you can't make it to the gym - it definitely does the trick!

I love my Onyx bike ! So stable , comfortable and great to use . For value for money I give it full marks as I really expected to have to pay a lot more for such a brilliant exercise bike . Recommend it highly

The viavito is a good compact bike which is surprisingly good for the low price. It has different settings for resistance and monitors distance, speed, heart rate etc.

Great bike however assembling it could be tricky if you are older and not too strong. Unfortunately my left peddle went in cross threaded and fell off 3 weeks later and I’ve now got to think of a way to reattach it. Can’t wait to get back on the bike as I was loving my daily workouts using spin classes on YouTube.

Excellently built. Had to reduce saddle height for a 5ft 6in guy by cutting of the saddle insert bar. Although very pleased with the product. Also now fits the wife of same height.

For the purpose I need it for it's perfect. I injured my leg so I use it for physio purposes. It was a good purchase at a reasonable price. Not high tech but doesn't take up much space and is well made. Not for the serious cyclists.

Only had it a month so too early to review how reliable it will be, however. Delivered promptly, tracked through to my door, fairly easy to assemble, comfortable to use, all the functions appear to work. Folds up reasonably small, not exactly light (wouldn't carry it upstairs single handed) but I can move it around (I am an average sized lady knocking 70years). All in all I would recommend it. Very pleased with my purchase.

Folds easily, with a fastening to stop it trapping fingers. Resistance levels OK for my purposes, and for a folding bike.

I bought it for medical reasons and I am finding it very good. It is good value for the price. Excellent service as it arrived the next day.

After reading the reviews the bike was described as other customers had said, it is flat packed delivery was within 24 hrs! I'm not good at putting things together, I did manage to do it had a bit of difficulty with the pedals and the seat were a bit 'faffy' but got them screwed on eventually took a bit of time. Some reviews mentioned the seat was high to get on to, I am 5'4 just a little bit of a lift to get on but no difficulty. It doesn't fold up fully and for me to move it around is a bit hard as its a bit heavy, and awkward to find a spot to hold on to without it banging on your body as you move it. Even though this is the case, I still believe I bought the right product - handles good grip, pulse rate monitor nearly matches the fit bit watch pulse rate, seat comfortable, 11 levels easy to turn - I wanted an effective beginners bike and this is it. Use it everyday for a few weeks, no noises, smooth pedalling. Its good quality. Might tighten the screws up at bit more as when going fast it slightly moved on the handles, Good Value for what you get. I would recommend it so far so good - not complicated to use . I jump on it in between gym sessions and my elderly mothers hopped on it a few times. Hope this helps!

Gets me exercising! It’s compact and fits into our storage room, easy to get it out and unfold ready to exercise. The tension levels are enough to really work up a sweat - I use hand weights to pump up my workout. Only things are: the seat could be a bit more comfy - a slimmer seat could be factored into the design, and possibly make the bicycle suitable for a standing workout. All in all I can’t complain, this bike is perfect for my fitness needs.

The flimsy velcro foot strap tore off on only the second use. Am awaiting news of a replacement part of for the bike to be exchanged. Disappointed but hopefully not disastrous.

After having had a ten year break from riding a beautiful road bike, I sat on the viavito onyx folding bike with some trepidation. My worries were unfounded it is probably the most comfortable bike I have ridden and because it is folding it sits perfectly in the corner. I can quickly set it up and cycle for half an hour, it’s brilliant!!

Easy to put together and simple to use. Not many gadgets so suits my needs. Looks nice and not too bulky. The seat is a little too high for me at the lowest setting. The screws fixing the seat in place aren't tight, so I've had to use some DIY to fix that.

Great quality exercise bike at a great price. Sturdier than I expected which means it is a bit heavy for me to move alone but that is not a problem. Easy to put together and use.

Easy to assemble and use. Very comfortable seat and good selection of resistance levels. Almost no noise at all. The only improvement would be to make the adjustable post that holds the seat a little longer. For anyone over 1.80 (like my husband), you have to use the last hole, and then there isn't much holding the seat in place. It feels a little precarious, and we hope it won't break over time. Otherwise, this exercise bike is very god value for money

Very good bike for the price - I use it to do about 15K a day when the weather is too cold or wet outside for a real bike. It was very easy to assemble and you get all the tools you need to put it together. Extremely quick delivery. Only down side - as it's of sturdy construction at 62 I sometimes find it a little on the heavy side to move once folded. But that is better than it being flimsy. I am recommending it to my children. Very happy with my purchase

Compact and easy to fold good value for money.

100 % for the bike. I work from home doing long hours and was struggling to have the motivation to go out and exercise at a gym plus couldn't afford gym membership and have been putting on weight.....I decided I needed to find a way to fit exercise in every day and since I have this bike I do 20 minutes a day plus will build this up. Its a great bike as you can fold it away in a cupboard if I have friends staying in my spare room. The reviews, product description, assembly instructions ,value for money and delivery were spot on

I love my bike and use it every day. I like the fact that I can fold it away as it fits into a corner out of the way when not in use. I also like it as I can exercise on it all times of the year even if it is raining. I would be lost without it, as I have had two back operations and find walking difficult but by doing twenty minutes on my bike each day it keeps me fit and healthy

I, a lady of 76, found the exercise bike very easy to build from the instructions, very robust and easy to use and understand the readings. The safety bar is a valuable asset. I have only had this bike for a few weeks but so far things seem to be working well. I hope it continues to give me long and lasting use.

Happy with quality of the bike for the price paid. Happy with the way this bike folds up when not in use. NOT happy that the seat even on the lowest setting is still too high for me. I am a female 5' 4" and have never felt that I had short legs. Have ordered a step stool to enable getting on and off safely.

I am very pleased with this purchase, it is great value for money. The seat is very comfortable, well padded, the bike is sturdy and folds neatly when not in use. For a novice like me the resistance levels are just right, nothing too strenuous. I bought this to help ease my arthritis and it does that well. the display has all the info I need, it may lack the detail of more expensive bikes but its ideal for me.

I do not go to gym and was not so keen to have a bike either. But my husband was worried about me that I started to put on weight/bingy eating due to stress!! So I finally agreed to buy and searched for reliable products and I thought I can trust this one. I am now so glad that I bought ONYX, very stable/strong, quiet and easy to put away. I Exercise while watching TV, listening to music, radio and I start singing and felt much better after got off the bike. The Owner's Manual was really detailed and I followed the Beginner's Guide to Exercise /Workout Tips/Tips for Stretching etc. Now just over a month passed, I have gradually built up stamina and enjoying much longer time. (20min/3-4 times a day) Whenever I feel stress out, Not go to the kitchen, Get on the Bike and start paddlling and sing aloud!!! (like hamster!) I lost a few pound already but, more than anything, I am much appreciated it that ONYX helped my Well-being, I feel much better and positive. My friends noticed the change in me!! The ONYX is not just a bike, it my Stress Buster Buddy!!! I have recommended to a few friends already!! We can encourage each other to move forward, even a little bit, from every difficult issue we may have. Very good, very reliable and much affordable price. Exercise and Laughter are the best Medicine!!! Hightly recommended.

A brilliant replacement for my 20 year-old exercise bike. Easy to use, many features and lightweight to move

Not impressed by the product but really impressed by the business and customer service from sweatband. They have been proactive and excellent.

Easy to assemble with good solid screws, nicely padded seat, very sturdy compared to many home exercise bikes. Folds up nicely when not in use, and is sturdy enough not to move across the floor in use. I have only used it several times so far and in short bursts, but the display is clear and easy to understand. Nothing flimsy or cheap looking about it, great value for money. So far, so good.

I am very pleased with my exercise bike and it is used every day and hopefully will help my recovery.

Great value, simple construction, space saving when folded. Stored in a small shed on the deck outside our retirement flat, it is easy to pull out and replace, and exercise in the open air. The central hinge pin folding mechanism works well, with a removable pin to allow the frame to open. Very smooth operation with easy load change knob below the handle bars, operating a magnetic load brake. For a couple of 85 year olds to get hip, leg and knee joints working it is fine. It may not suit a purist and I am not sure about the accuracy of the small screen output for distance, speed, calories burned and pulse rate. However, the timer is fine and the increase in pulse rate with effort is noticeable. The only criticism I would have is the method of seat height adjustment. This involves locating an appropriate hole (which cannot be seen) in the saddle post opposite the hole on the main frame and then screwing in a fixing bolt. This is OK if only one person is to use it, but changing the seat height to suit two different individuals is rather irritating. It would be better if a round tube were welded into the rectangular from and a standard round tubular seat post were used, with the now standard quick adjustment lever bolt as on most bikes. This would also allow selection of a different saddle is desired. However, I do not feel this niggle is sufficient to mark down the overall rating from 5 star. All we need to do now is keep using it and taking the tablets...!!

As a 73 year-old it was surprisingly easy to put together. It is sturdy and easy to fold up, although I have it facing my desktop and once I find a good programme on catch-up it just stays where it is and I can pedal away!

I bought it for my husband who needed a static bike to aid recovery from a torn meniscus in his knee. The folding mechanism is very good however the bike is quite heavy to take out twice a day, so he leaves it up. It was easy to construct, comfortable to sit on and has a really good range of functions. His condition has improved significantly and he will continue to use it to strengthen the muscles around his knee. Excellent product

My first one of this bike broke within 2 weeks. The resistance stopped working (assume the magnets disconnected somehow). A replacement was sent out within 3 working days and that one has had no problems so far. Comfy seat and easy to use display.

Strong, sturdy, silent, and very well made. I love it, it's worth every penny. If you want a folding exercise bike you'd be crazy not to get one of these.

Great bike for me - an unfit beginner, reasonably easy to fold and store away. Quite tricky for me to assemble and heavy, wouldn't have been able to do it by myself - needed a male relative to put it together. Would recommend 2 people assemble. Otherwise, very pleased.

My mother is using the Onyx exercise bike post knee replacement. The best way for the knee to recover is through low impact exercise. The bike has only ever been used on the low setting to make it easy for my mother to pedal freely.

The exercise bike is very good for the money. Easy to assemble has 8 different settings, monitor for heart rate, distance, speed etc. And easy to fold away and put in cupboard when not in use.

I am really pleased with this bike. It came quickly and was easy to assemble. It sits in the corner of the room and does not take up much room and can easily be folded up. I really enjoy using it and try to use it every day

Excellent value, doesn't have all the 'bells and buzzers' of some more expensive models, but good enough for us.

This is a great exercise bike. Sturdy, good grip and comfortable cushioned seat. This static bike can be used by anyone. It's easy to carry around, doesn't take much space when folded, has a good range of resistance levels as well as seat adjustments. The only downside is that you have to manually unscrew and screw whenever you need to change the height of the seat. But again, the overall features are excellent for the price.

For the price, this is a terrific exercise bike. The seat and handlebar adjustments are easy, and make it comfortable for almost anyone. It feels solid and stable when riding it, and doesn't move around even when I'm pedalling hard. It does not have a "cheap" feel; it is a solid piece of equipent. Big plus for me - it can be moved anywhere easily. The only criticism is the little monitor is very difficult to read! But you really cannot beat this bike for the price.

Having sustained a serious knee injury whilst skiing, my physio strongly recommended purchasing an exercise bike. I've been very pleased with this bike. I started on resistance of 1 and am now up to 5. I use it every day and it's been, and will continue to be, a vital part of my recovery. It was easy to put the pedals and seat on. The display system was easy to connect up and works fine.

A very sturdy and well-made bike. The only disappointment is the computer. For example, instead of showing the correct reading for the heart rate it starts at 72 bpm and slowly changes up or down to the correct rate never giving an instant reading. If I put on a spurt of pedalling, quickly raising my heart rate to say 150, the computer slowly shows 72 ..73 ..74..and on. The little beating heart is pulsing at the right rate, but the reading is still slowly counting its way up the scale. Not really useful.

I am 6' 2" and 100kg. This is at the top of what the bike can take weight wise. My wife is 5' 10" so it's good for her too (but much lighter!). For us the bike is perfect. It folds away easily, gives you a good idea of mileage heart rate etc. and I found it easy enough to construct in about 20mins.

I bought this to strengthen legs and feet after leg, foot and ankle surgery.It's working. Most of the displays I don't need, just pulse rate and time, as I've only got myself up to 3 times 10 minutes a day. The cycle was definitely manufactured for tall slim people. At 5ft 1in can just use it on lowest setting.Space between rather over large saddle and handlebars a bit tight to get my boobs inmakin it difficult to step over the"crossbar".Luckly after 50 years of using a racing bike I can still cock my leg over the saddle. All in all at the price I paid and the ease of use, I have no complaints

Great bike, folds up well and is very quiet in use. My wife is 5ft 2 and only just reaches the pedals however so you may want to be careful if you are less than tall! Lovely product though and great price.

The bike is functional and a decent source of exercise while in the comfort of your home. I would rate it higher, but it arrived with a tear in the seat, this flaw makes it less comfortable and was a bit disappointing, but not worth the bother and give inconvenience of sending it back.

Happy with the quality and value for money, easy to assemble. Very pleased with the speed of delivery and the fact that it was free. Compared with similar products better value and found others charged for delivery. Only negative is that the features on the front panel are not explained in the owner's manual. Some are self explanatory but others i.e. Scan & ODO are not. Still not sure what these are but manage with the ones I do know i.e. Distance & Time.

Purchased this bike after reading reviews, very easy to assemble and was very pleased with the build quality. It is silent in use which is great as I can watch a TV program when exercising. It is very portable and folds up for storage. This is a very stable bike at an excellent price, I compared it against similar models and I a glad to say that I made the right choice, would definitely recommend this bike.

Nice bike, but computer fails to work correctly. The Odometer is cancelled after each session. The Calorie key does not cancel after each session. A well made exercise bike has all the features l wanted unlike some of the others l had looked at. Well worth the money a good sturdy machine.

Easy to put together. Lightweight easy to move around but also very stable. Well made used every day by 2 people, display basic but adequate. Excellent value for money

The exercise bike is everything I wanted in an exercise bike. It has the monitor so you can easily keep track of whichever mode you wish to use. It was such a good price for the quality of the bike, I considered a number of bikes but this is real value for money. It's quite heavy so can be difficult to move around, however it also shows that it's not a flimsy product that will fall to bits. Was easy to put together, took about 30 minutes and then good to go. Would recommend to anyone.

Great exercise bike. Well constructed, easy to put together, and good value for money. Was delivered on time and good delivery firm. They were helpful in putting the box into my home. I would buy again from Sweatband. A great buy. Bike itself runs smoothly and the dials shown are very useful. The only drawback I have is dismounting from the bike is not easy unless you have long legs. It is suitable for people of height of and over mine - I am 5'9".

Excellent value for money if you just want it for cardio. I bought it as I am not allowed to run anymore due to injuries and was getting horribly unfit. Resistance doesn't get very high but after 20 mins heart rate and breathing rate definitely high enough to notice! Comfy seat and clear display. Cannot cycle off seat so not for 'spinning' and slight sticking at top of cycle but still good. Very quiet. Can read, watch tv etc while cycling. Although cycling is meant to be OK for knees I find I cannot use it every day as my knee doesn't track properly after a fracture and rubs but every other day is fine. Overall, not going to do much for leg muscles but will improve cardio fitness and burn some calories.

Had been thinking about buying an exercise bike for quite some time (folding) as I live in a small studio flat! came across this one...ordered it. Good looking piece of kit, and very sturdy, the monitor is a great feature, I use it mainly for distance and time although it shows pulse, calories burned, speed, overall distance. I think no matter what your level of fitness is this is a good investment...I use mine for interval training, but it's perfect if you just want to keep up with gentle exercise 'while watching TV'. Brilliant value for money looks way more expensive.

Very pleased with the bike, it is a joy to use. The only problem is that my wife is quite short (4'11") and the seat was too high even at the lowest setting - without the screw. We hacksawed about 1.5cm off the seat support bar and now it is perfect for her.

The bike has limited features but has all that I need: time, distance, pulse rate etc. and 8 'degrees of difficulty' in pedalling. The build quality is excellent, it is very comfortable to sit on and although I have not ridden or bought any other exercise bikes, though have spoken to friends about there's, I am confident that it was a real bargain as far as price was concerned.

A bit heavier than I'd like, and it seems to be made for taller people really as I only just manage with the lowest seat setting (I'm 1.63m). Otherwise, it's exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality and good value for money.

Have been using the bike for a week now (30mins a day) and everything is fine. Resistance could be a bit higher at the top end but overall no complaints. Small bike, small price but actually delivers! Would recommend to anyone pushed for space.
